Atom Bank is a UK digital bank, founded in Durham in 2013. It was the first app-only bank in the UK to receive a full banking licence from the Bank of England's Prudential Regulation Authority. Atom operates without physical branches, conducting all banking through its mobile app.

Atom's main products include fixed-term savings accounts, residential mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, and business savings accounts. It does not offer current accounts. Its savings accounts have been competitively rated and Atom has won multiple awards for its fixed savings products.

Atom is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the FCA and PRA. Eligible deposits are protected up to £85,000 per person under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
