Your rights under UK GDPR

As a user of Ask Fin, you have rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). These include:

  • Right of access — request a copy of your data
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — the "right to be forgotten"
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw consent

How to make a request

To exercise any of these rights, you can use the account settings within your dashboard or write to us at the address on our Contact page. We will aim to respond within one calendar month.

Account cancellation and data

When you cancel your Ask Fin account, we will deactivate your access. Data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy and is subject to legal retention requirements. For more detail, see our Subscription and Cancellation Policy.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113.
